Mengajar siswa kelas 5A adalah pengalaman yang menarik dan menyenangkan. Ada begitu banyak kenangan yang tak terlupakan, baik suka maupun duka sehingga sangat berkesan untuk dikenang.
Salah satu tantangan mengajar anak-anak di kelas 5A adalah menghadapi karakter dan perilaku yang beranekaragam yang di mana siswa di dalam kelas di dominasi oleh anak laki-laki sehingga suasana di dalam kelas sering kali kurang kondusif sehingga perlu sekali harus bersikap tegas. Selain menghadapi beranekaragam karakter dan perilaku siswa di dalam kelas, saya juga dihadapkan dengan Perbedaan kemampuan siswa dalam menangkap informasi penting dan mempelajari pelajaran di dalam kelas.
Perasaan mengajar di kelas 5A secara keseluruhan sangat menyenangkan. Ada kala saya merasa bangga dengan pencapaian prestasi, perubahan sikap dan kemauan untuk belajar siswa meningkat, ada juga saya merasa terharu dengan perhatian dan kepedulian siswa terhadap sesama, kemudian ada juga perasaan kesal karena peraturan yang telah ditetapkan bersama di dalam kelas masih dilanggar, dan ada juga saya merasa termotivasi untuk mengajar dan memberikan yang terbaik untuk beberapa siswa yang masih butuh bimbingan dalam belajar.
Di awal mengajar saya menerapkan beberapa rencana pelajaran yang dibutuhkan siswa di dalam kelas namun, seiring berjalannya waktu dan proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas, saya merubah salah satu rencana pelajaran saya seperti yang awalnya saya meminta siswa untuk berbicara menggunakan bahasa inggris ketika pelajaran dengan initiatif sendiri akhirnya saya rubah dengan menggunakan konsep berbicara dengan partner menggunakan bahasa inggris dan hasilnya siswa mampu berbicara menggunakan bahasa inggris dengan baik. Saya juga selalu menggunakan metode pendekatan saintifik di dalam kelas agar siswa menjadi aktif dalam proses pengamatan bertanya, menalar dan mengkomunikasikan hasil.
Rencana yang ingin saya kembangkan di tahun ajaran berikutnya adalah meningkatkan kemampuan mengajar di dalam kelas dengan menggunakan aplikasi - aplikasi yang bisa membuat pengajara di dalam kelas menjadi semakin menarik dan siswa lebih termotivasi untuk belajar di dalam kelas.
